Poem by Katie Unsworth

This is a poem written by 12 year old Katie who stayed with us last week. Her and her family are regular visitors.

To Ian & Sharon,
I have written you a poem to tell you what a good holiday I had!!

Thank you, thank you very much,
here to stay and that's for good,

With the Pinemartens scary to touch,
nipping in and out of the wood,
keeping look out day and night,
you never know what you will see,
oh thank goodness they didn't fight
under the stone there is their tea.

Ian is a busy bee,
and when it is raining he works away,
new places to go and people to see
all day working and no time to play,

Night is quiet and very calm,
do watch out when the midges bite.
Sharon kind and never harms,
home from home is the sight,
and there is Bill he is my friend,

Round the roads I will miss,
oh I drive you all round the bend,
Never ever had a holiday like this!!!
